Thyme medicinal benefits: Bronchial infections and chronic coughs are helped by a strong tea of Thyme made in the morning and sipped throughout the day. Some people can take very large amounts without any trouble whereas others would find the taste and aroma too strong to use for long but If you are sensitive to the smell or taste of it, you can still use just a few tsps of Thyme (e.g. 3 or 4) in a quart of water steeped covered for 10-15 minutes. This could be drunk throughout the day and other herbs like sage or mullein leaf can also be added along with a little honey and lemon.
